ASFA offers a one-year certification. With this option, you are required to retest and purchase yearly prior to expiration. All certificate holders must remain in compliance with terms and conditions for their certificate to remain valid and active. The one-year certification is a great way to try out the fitness industry and see if a career as a fit pro is right for you. If you decide to stay in the fitness industry past the first year, you can keep purchasing yearly or select the lifetime renewal, as mentioned above.
