New Group Fitness/Bootcamp Certification!

Due to the ever increasing demand for marketability ASFA has created a Group Fitness Instructor Certification. This should help individual trainers create another niche marketing solution to expand and diversify their skills.

In the current down economy many people are cutting back on discretionary spending. It’s becoming more difficult to justify the costs of one-on-one personal training. Group training or boot camp training however, creates a lower cost alternative for the consumer to continue working with a trainer. It also creates another method for the trainer to keep getting a paycheck. Multiple clients paying 15 to 25 percent of what they would pay for individual training can be a lucrative alternative for a trainer struggling to keep a full schedule.

Develop a training program that includes a warm-up, resistance training, calisthenics, interval training and a cool-down. Set class levels for beginner, intermediate and advanced. Don’t forget to have participants sign a waiver before beginning.
